The Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI), India's nodal association with about 2,500 companies actively engaged in Travel, Tourism, Hospitality & MICE, are delighted to announce the Grand Celebrations of TAAI's 75 years of Excellence at their 69th TAAI Convention & Exhibition of TAAI at Kolkata, West Bengal. The 3-Day Convention will be held from the 25th to 27th October, 2026 at ITC Royal Bengal, Kolkata.
The Convention holds special significance as TAAI celebrates 75 years of Excellence, Leadership and Service to Indian Travel, Tourism & Hospitality.
Established in 1951, TAAI has been at the forefront of India's Travel & Tourism industry for 75 years, promoting the growth of the sector and bringing together travel professionals from across the country. TAAI represents about 2,500 member companies engaged actively in Outbound, Domestic, Inbound Tourism; Travel. Their member companies are well known for the MICE Tourism they are involved with. TAAI, continues to have at its focus, India, as a Leading Destination, and promote this feature Nationally & Globally.
The 69th Convention comes to India
Guided by the call of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, TAAI’s Managing Committee has decided that the 69th Convention will be held in India, a departure this year, from the doing it overseas. The decision reflects TAAI’s commitment to Incredible India, strengthening domestic tourism and showcasing India’s immense tourism potential to the global travel fraternity.
A landmark gathering of the Indian travel industry
The three-day convention is expected to bring together approximately 900 delegates and media from across India.
The event will bring together leaders from the Government, stakeholders in Travel, Tourism and Hospitality Industry; Airlines, Hotels, Destinations, Technology Companies; MICE products and services and other allied sectors, creating a platform for industry interaction, collaboration, networking and discussions on the opportunities and challenges shaping the future of Indian Travel & Tourism.

TAAI’s B2B is very special. It is the India Travel & Tourism Expo (TAAI’s ITTE). They are always held during our largely attended annual TAAI Conventions, an event that Industry leaders eagerly await to join, since their overall grandeur is second to none.
The TAAI’s B2B, Indian Travel Congress 2026, is being organized at our 69th TAAI Convention & Exhibition to be held at the most splendid and India’s most luxurious Hotel & Convention Centre, The ITC Royal Bengal, Kolkata, West Bengal, which is from the 25th to 27th October 2026.
The quality of audience and interaction an exhibitor of product, Service, Destination, properties, technology, or promotion of tourism destinations is very high quality. TAAI conventions have owners, decision makers, and influencers as the delegates. For the purpose of promotion of Tourism to a particular destination or building brand awareness, or a demo or any other activity the exhibitor desires to engage the delegates with, the TAAI’s B2B – ITTE is very special and most rewarding. TAAI’s B2B shows are always busy.

The Exhibition is designed in a manner where, prior to entry into the Bengal State Room, where our events are being held, a delegate has to walk through the large foyers where the exhibitor areas are located.
Yes. The TAAI B2B 2026, will provide participating organisations with a focused platform to meet, connect and engage with travel professionals, industry stakeholders and business partners from across India and overseas.

Participation Options
Our Design of the exhibition booth is different. They are well-designed private exhibition spaces. The basic booth will be in the range of a space that can give the exhibitor ample space for setting up a table and 2 chairs with adequate branding support.
One exhibitor assistant is offered an "Exhibitor" only pass to enter the premises of the exhibition area. This pass does not entitle admission into the main convention events.
However, as a special case, should an exhibitor require it, we can offer a residential/non-residential delegate option, which entitles the person at the stall to continue networking with the delegates in all events, including the evening events, and be entitled to all meals and hospitality of the convention.
All rates are exclusive of applicable taxes.
THE CONVENTION SPECIAL—EXCLUSIVE PAVILLIONS
This is something very special. A new initiative at our TAAI Conventions
The large convention facility – with a design of several meeting rooms from 350 Sq. Feet to 800 Sq. Feet (Some of them can be merged) surrounding the Convention Hall – The Bengal State Room and the B2B area, are blocked by the Organizing Committee to offer the special option of a Pavillion, to those seeking to promote their Products, Services, Brand Promotion, Displays & Presentations, Partnerships and more.
This is a superb opportunity – 3 Days - EXCLUSIVE PAVILION for Exhibitors
We have blocked a few specially designated areas on the same floor as the Convention Area, which are adjoining our area of activity. These are very limited.
These are of different sizes and can help the exhibitor or display organisation create a private pavilion-like atmosphere.
Only about two or three pavilions are possible.
These pavilions can be used to:
- Create the Brand as per your design and set-up
- Have service ordered at their cost to offer hospitality to visitors.
- Put up your own LED Screens and other display material.
- A pavilion can also have a small audience area of about 10-15 pax seated at one time to watch a demo or a display.
- We can help the exhibitor to also have this facility at their choice of timings. For instance, if someone would like a post-dinner facility for a networking opportunity or host visitors with hospitality of their choice, this can also be considered but will require us to speak to the hotel management.
- In other words, this can be a private pavilion of the exhibitor for all three days of the convention (25th, 26th & 27th October 2026)
Exclusive Pavillion Cost (Rs 10-25 Lakhs for 3 Days)
The cost of the pavilion for all the three days would vary between Rs 10 lakhs to Rs 25 Lakhs as contribution for the space, plus GST. The costs of branding, hospitality, displays, exclusive furniture if any, or any other event costs will be that of the exhibitor.
But this would be a truly impressive and valuable opportunity to enhance visibility and market the product or service.
